Diane and I spent much time together when she was in Sacramento and Arbuckle. She taught me to ride and I shared my love of skiing with her. She cared for two Tennessee walkers where I learned to ride. She was patient and kept me safe. The trail rides along the trails leaving from the horseman’s assn arena were always fun and exciting. She’d always find something to laugh about. One time she was riding a friends (Pam) horse Toby. He was well trained Morgan. As we crossed a deeper creek in the summer Toby stopped and rolled. We were all shocked. Diane was none too pleased. When we came back he did it again! We laughed and laughed but she was really mad. She couldn’t believe she didn’t sense it. She was a wonderful horseman. I have so many memories of riding with her.
