Diane's obituary

In Loving Memory of Diane Lane Stacy
Diane Lane Stacy, age 70, of Huntington, Oregon, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. A loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Diane’s life was marked by steadfast faith, quiet strength, and a deep and abiding love for her family.
Diane was born on August 13, 1955, in Williamsburg, Virginia, during Hurricane Diane — a powerful storm that inspired her name. She was the second born child of Christine Jordan and Lloyd Young. From the very beginning, Diane carried a resilient spirit that would define her life, facing both joys and hardships with grace and determination.
In April 2005, she married the love of her life, Donald Stacy. Their marriage was one of true partnership and devotion, built on love and mutual respect. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering commitment to one another.
Diane often spoke about her work as a legal secretary, a role she carried out with dedication and pride. She found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. A faithful Christian woman, her relationship with the Lord guided her steps and sustained her through every season. She gained strength from listening to Michael W. Smith and loved Christmas.
She had a fondness for Pepsi, delighted in collecting porcelain dolls, and treasured her cherished Hummel figurines. Diane enjoyed settling in to watch a good soap opera, episodes of Walker Texas Ranger, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs during football season. These simple comforts brought her happiness and were often shared with those she loved. She took great pride in the home and family she nurtured, creating a place where everyone felt welcome and cared for.
Above all, Diane was a devoted mother. She is survived by her beloved children: Alex Cumbie, Katie Jordan, Angela Cunningham, Tori Cameron, Andrew Cumbie, Philip Cumbie, and Bruce Cumbie. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joey Cumbie and David Cumbie, whom she carried in her heart always.
Diane is also survived by her siblings: Reba Young, Patsy Cardona, Shirley Lewellen, Floyd Young, and Roy Young, who will forever treasure her memory.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, steady faith, gentle humor, and unwavering love for her family. Diane’s legacy lives on in the lives of her children, her husband, and all who were blessed to know her.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
