Dear Anne Marie - I am so sorry to hear about my friend Diane's passing.  I tried calling her and e-mailing her, but never connected with her.  Once I was able to talk briefly on the phone with her.  I told her I wanted to visit her, but she said she was sick and would call me back.  She never did.     I missed the announcement about the memorial service, or I would have been there.

Diane and I were friends since the  1960's.  I was in her wedding party, and she is godmother to my son.  She helped me when my daughter Laura was born.  We took classes together.   We  hiked together and stayed in touch over the years until she moved from Forest Lake and we lost touch.   She was a kind, caring person all her life.  She and I talked about moving to California, but that never happened.
