Diane L. McGinnis, 86, of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania passed on with peace and grace on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at the auspicious time of 11:57:41 in her home surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.

Diane was born on May 14, 1934, the daughter of Louis and Helen (née Langan) Baldino. On October 20, 1955, she was married to Paul Gerald McGinnis at St. Philomena’s church in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.

She was an alumnus of Gwynedd Mercy College and a pursued a career in merchandising.

Upon marriage in 1955, she and her husband Paul moved to Newtown Square where they began creating a life and raising what was to become a large family.

Happy summers were spent at her parent's beach house in Sea Isle City, NJ creating lasting memories with family and a large gang of friends that we call family to this day.

If Diane were here to speak to us she would remind each of us to be patient with each other, to be kind to one another every day, and be generous.

Beauty was her muse. She sought it every day of her life, and in so doing shared with us an appreciation for all the beauty to be found here in this life. The hallmarks of her life were devotion to family, the joy of creative expression, fine arts, fashion, nature, decorative arts, good conversation, sharing, generosity, connecting with neighbors and strangers alike, and the cultivation of lifelong friendships.

She was a longtime and active member of St. Anastasia Parish in Newtown Square Pennsylvania.

Diane is survived by her six children; Jeff, (wife Isabel); Suzanne, Paula (husband Jerry, daughter Ann); Marianne; Tom (wife Gretchen, children Olivia, Hope and Nora); Julie Broderick (husband Brendan, children Ava and Jude); granddaughter Ann Toral (husband John, children Noah and Julian); her brother-in-law John J. Lynch, nieces Kelley, Karen and nephew Jay . She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention but remembered with love.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis T. Baldino and Helen R. Baldino (née Langan); sister Joan Lynch (née Baldino) and husband Paul G. McGinnis.
