It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane (nee Harthon) Puplis. Born on July 13, 1946, Diane completed her life's journey on December 5, 2024. Diane left an imprint on the hearts of those she knew. 

Diane grew up and went to school in Downers Grove, Illinois where she graduated from Downers Grove High School (North) in 1964. She worked and raised a family in Westmont, Woodridge, and Downers Grove before settling in Fort Myers Beach, Florida in 1994.

Diane was the oldest of three daughters by her father, John Harthon, and her mother, Violet Harthon, who preceded her in death. Her legacy of strength and resilience continues in the lives of her beloved family; her devoted husband Andrew Puplis; her sons, Mike (Courtney) and Mark (Dawn) Barry; her stepdaughters Jen Puplis and Erica Lambert; and her stepson, Ryan Puplis. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters Terri Barry and Lori Weis, multiple nieces and nephews, including Leslie Bevers, Sara Birn and John Barry. Grandchildren include Amanda, Ella, Jack, Kelly, and Colin Barry. The loss of Diane leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the memories of her live on in  family members who will always remember her as a pillar of strength and a beacon of kindness.

As we mourn the loss of Diane, we relish the memories of a woman who was loved. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her resilient spirit will live on through the lessons she shared and the love she gave. Rest in peace, Diane.
