Diane Marie Grieco passed away peacefully April 1st, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceeded in death by her father, Joseph Sarmie, and mother, Christine Catalina Sarmie. She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, David, daughter Jennifer, son Jonathan, daughter in law Cindy, granddaughter Cosima Alison, brother in law John Grieco, sister in law Linda Grieco Rosbrough, brother in law Michael Rosbrough plus a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.  

She graduated from Ilion Central High School, Ilion, NY and then went to Monroe College in Rochester, NY. In her post college years Diane worked at Marine Midland Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Bank as a Corporate Loan Officer in Utica, NY. She also worked at Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY for many years. Diane touched everyone she came into contact with and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her greatest pride was her children and granddaughter. She also adored her cats Precious, Alyes, Simba, Socks, and Bella. Diane made the most of every situation and ensured all of life's moments would be memorable. Arrangements were made by Woody Funeral Home, Midlothian, Va.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to the ASPCA or American Heart Society.
