Diane's obituary
Diane Marie (Grego) Baldwin died peacefully in Midland, MI while surrounded by loved ones on June 11, 2024, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was 63 years old.
Diane was born in Germany while her father was in the military. After a few years in Germany, the family moved to Kawkawlin, MI.
Diane loved fishing, boating, and spending time with her husband Dan at their cabin on Au Sable Lake. They enjoyed bowling together and were excited to win a tournament together. She loved her dogs, Jazzmine, a German Shorthair and Samantha, a black Lab. She often bragged about Dan’s cooking and loved to describe the meals he made for her and for the family at the holidays. Enjoying time with her children and grandchildren was very important to Diane and she loved being a grandma. She spent many years working in the service industry and was well liked by the customers and her co-workers. She made friends easily and was a hard worker.
Friends and family remember Diane as having a lively, active personality and a big laugh.
Diane is survived by her husband Dan Baldwin, children Eric , Jacob, and Travis Mellon, grandchildren Emmarie, Alyssa, Andrew, Hailee, Katherine, Hayden, Christeen, Nathaniel, Theodore and Kennedy, and great-child Weslee, her father Arnold Grego, siblings Dawn Grego and Debbie Prokopenko, sisters in law Beth Baldwin and Jill Baldwin and friends.
