Diane's obituary
Diane M. Albright, 74, of Holly Springs, NC, passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2025, surrounded by the love and presence of her devoted family, after a courageous and unwavering battle against cancer.
Diane was born on March 31, 1951, in Roaring Spring, PA to the late John and Lois (Leighty) Toth. She graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1969.
Diane lived a life defined by faith, compassion, and an unshakable devotion to her family and friends. Her strength, grace, and warmth were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her husband Timothy Albright, and her three children, each of whom was a source of deep pride and joy: Thomas Albright (Jamie) of Berlin, CT, Gretchen Wolynec (Scott) of Holly Springs, NC, and Meghan Graham (David) of W. Suffield, CT.
Diane’s heart was never fuller than when she was surrounded by her family. She was a devoted and adoring grandmother to ten grandchildren: Madison, Garrett, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Addison, Hayli, Jaxson, Jacob, and Braydon. She loved being involved in their lives—attending school functions, birthday parties, and celebrating every milestone. She took pride in each of them and created a lifetime of cherished memories through her presence, stories, and gentle guidance.
She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Ryder, who brought her immense joy. Diane is also survived by her loving sister, Cindy Pittman (Tom) of Coronado, CA. Their lifelong bond was one of trust, love, and shared memories.
In addition to her immediate family, Diane leaves behind many dear friends who were touched by her kindness, empathy, and steady presence.
Her strength in the face of adversity inspired those around her, and her gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude.
