Diana's obituary
Diana Lynn Pelletier, born on October 22, 1967, sadly passed away on January 20, 2025. She is missed dearly by her family, including the love of her life, Fred; her son, Dakota (Al); her daughter, Paige; her granddaughter Sophia; her sisters Wendy Silva (Andy) and Roseann Prosperi (Nate); her brothers Ronnie Prosperi and James Pelletier (Amanda); her nieces Ainsley, Kaitlyn (Jaden) and Jennifer (Lorenzo); and her nephews Aiden, Joshua and Zachary. As well as many great nieces and nephews. She was reunited in heaven with her mother, Jean Pelletier; her father, James A Pelletier; her aunts Barbara Clark and Patricia Morris; and her uncle Carlysle Turk.
A graduate of McDowell High School, Erie, PA in 1985, Diana had a rich palette of interests. Her favorite foods included a good beef stroganoff, and she loved a good Rum Runner. She exhibited a voracious appetite for Stephen King novels, and her favorite discography was the timeless Rolling Stones. Her favorite TV show was the thrilling Stranger Things, and she enjoyed watching the movie Big Trouble in Little China.
Diana frequently indulged in the board game acquire with her children. She greatly admired the Broadway show Hamilton. Her preferred recreational activity was snuggling her grandbaby and her beloved cats. She enjoyed taking walks with her children. Diana loved visiting Puerto Rico, and she had always wished to travel to Chicago. Her local hangouts included Danny's Tacos and The Bodega. Diana was a passionate supporter of the CARE organization, and her favorite color was sage green.
Diana was a woman of spunk, humor, and sarcasm. She was known for her guiding principles of honesty and integrity. Her legacy will be remembered as going above and beyond for those she loved. Even when angered, she was always seen to show love. Diana's life was one filled with laughter, lessons, and most importantly, love. Her memory will continue to live on in those who loved her.
