Obituary for Diana Yvette Norman
January 10, 1943 – July 3, 2025
Diana Yvette Norman, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born on January 10, 1943, Yvette lived a life full of warmth, hard work, and dedication to the people and things she loved. She worked as an integrated circuit technician by trade, a career she pursued with focus and pride. Alongside her professional life, she maintained a full household and a vibrant half-acre garden, raising chickens, turkeys, and pigs. A skilled homemaker, she took joy in preserving her harvest and loved to can and freeze fresh foods for her family.
She found joy in the simple pleasures—fishing on quiet mornings, camping under the stars, and spending time with loved ones. Yvette was known for her vibrant spirit, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her home was a place of comfort and joy, where everyone felt welcomed and cherished.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Anne Chambers and her husband Roland Chambers, and Kyle Diana Canales and her husband Patrick Canales Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Yvette Madariaga and her husband Mark Madariaga, and Patrick Albert Canales III; and her great-granddaughter, Aurora Diana Madariaga. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Billie Eugene Norman.
Yvette’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A gathering of family and friends will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Yvette’s memory by sharing a meal with loved ones or tending to your own garden with love and care—just as she always did.
