Dee's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Diana "Dee" Nelson, a remarkable woman who was known and loved by many. Dee was born on February 29, 1944 and left us on December 9, 2024, leaving a void in our lives that will never be filled.
Dee is survived by her son Ty Nelson and daughters, Carole Nelson and Stephani Sabatini. She was a doting grandmother/Nan to Joseph, Robyn, Brooke, Casey, Jacob and Morgan and great grandchildren Maple, Dominic, and Iris. She leaves behind a brother, Kelly Davis, who will remember her fondly. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Davis and mother Anne Klapp with whom she is now reunited.
Dee's personality was best described as loving, forgiving, funny, and kind. Wherever she went, her happiness and laughter were contagious. She had a heart big enough to embrace everyone she met, making them feel at home. She believed in taking care of strays, both human and animal, and became a beacon for lost souls in need of comfort and refuge.
Dee's legacy is one of family, love, and compassion. Dee had the ability to connect with people and has inspired many who knew her. She taught us the importance of being kind and taking care of those around us, lessons that will continue to inspire us. Let us continue Dee's legacy and keep her memory alive by showing love, and compassion to those in need.
Dee's passing is a significant loss for us all, and she will be dearly missed. Her memory will continue to live on in our hearts and minds and in the lives of those she touched with her kindness and love. May her soul rest in peace.
