Diana's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Hutchings, a beloved mother, esteemed dental professional, and treasured member of her community. Born on February 7, 1968, Diana’s zest for life was evident to all who knew her. She left us far too soon on December 29, 2025.
Diana’s unwavering devotion to her children was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her daughters, Kaci Korthuis and Shelbi Brown, and her son, Dane Hutchings. Each of them carries forward Diana’s charm, strength, and love for life’s simple joys—whether a good game of cribbage or a comforting bowl of her favorite food, pho.
Those closest to Diana will fondly remember her love of Diet Pepsi, the gentle hum of her quilting machine, and the serene smile she wore during visits to her favorite restaurant, Soy House. She was known as warm, bubbly, friendly, positive, protective, determined, thoughtful, and generous—a devoted mother and a true beacon of positivity in the lives of many.
Diana’s lessons were simple yet profound: dental hygiene is essential, and pain—though often invisible—should never be ignored or minimized. She took great pride in the impact she made on her dental hygiene patients, offering not only professional care but also a listening ear and words of comfort and encouragement.
In remembering Diana, we invite all who knew her to hold close her unwavering kindness, the sparkle in her eye when she made you smile, and the comfort she brought through her gentle words. Let us remember her not just as the woman who always had dental floss in her purse, but as the steady, supportive presence who touched so many lives. As we grieve, may we also reach out to those who are hurting, just as Diana would have wanted.
Our hearts ache with the loss of the bright light that was Diana Hutchings.
