I met Diana when she worked in Payroll on the Foothill campus. We sometimes had breaks together and when Christmas came around she brought me a small gift. I was shocked and asked her why. She said because I was so nice. I was in shock. I didn't realize I had made an impression but I have been eternally grateful!! She was so delightful, funny and smart and caring. We kept in touch over the years and I had been thinking for a while that we needed to have dinner soon when I found out the news. I am soo sorry.
I grew up with the Johnson family in Mountain View. Diana was a close friend to my sister, and was one of many that would come over, and be a known presence in our family home. My prayers of peace and tranquility go to the family during this time of loss.
We are so saddened to hear the news of Diana’s passing. Although there is no way to adequately console you and your sister, please know we are thinking about you and wishing you some peace during these very trying days.
