Diana's obituary
Diana Ruth Holder (Oliver), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025 at the age of 76, surrounded by love in Lafayette, Colorado.
She was born August 19, 1949, in San Diego, California, to Ruth Owen and Frank Oliver Sr. She had a spirit full of optimism, determination and resilience. She was devoted to her family and found her greatest comfort in the time she spent with those she loved. Her warmth, laughter, humor and positive light filled every room she entered, and she was known for her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued.
Diana took great pride in her career with Adams County Sheriff’s Office and lived her life with strength, independence, and integrity. Selfless by nature, she always put others first and wanted nothing more than for those around her to be happy.
She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for forming lasting friendships. Her kindness, generosity, and devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Andrea Collaso, her grandchildren, Anthony (Amanda) Collaso, Driss (Nicolette) Collaso, Sydney (Qiyar) Vasquez. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, her brothers Frank and Roger Oliver, her sister Denise Gann and many loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Oliver Sr. and Ruth Owen; and her beloved great-grandchild, Dominic Collaso.
Diana was an inspiration and will be remembered for her unwavering love, strength, and the joy she brought into the lives of so many. Her legacy lives on through her family and all those whose lives were touched by her kindness and grace.
