Diana Katheryn Gabriel (77) of New Baltimore, Michigan gently passed away on August 19, at home.  She was born April 4, 1945, in San Francisco, California.  She enjoyed a career in the automotive design field.  During retirement she relished in  volunteer work for the Detroit Zoo.  Mrs. Gabriel graduated from Denby High School in 1963 in Detroit, Michigan.  She loved to cook, sew, knit, travel, spend time with her grandchildren, and had a huge heart for her pets and all animals.  She is survived by her husband Charles E. Gabriel, her brother Michael Johnson, her sister Christina Arbic, her son Jeffrey Walimaa, step-daughters Julie Gabriel and Kimberly (Ian) Bigsby along with her grandchildren Myles Walimaa, Chloe Walimaa, Jennifer (Shaun) Didia, and Garrett Bigsby.  She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Walimaa.
