I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Dez. Although I only had the pleasure of meeting her a few times, I always enjoyed our conversations on social media and appreciated her great sense of humor. Her strength and determination throughout her battle with cancer were truly inspiring, and I know she fought until the very end with everything she had.

It's clear that she was a wonderful mother to her girls and a devoted wife. Her intelligence, beauty, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and in the love and support of those around you.

My condolences to Dezzierae's family. I first met Dez when I was home from college for a summer and was babysitting little P during the day.  The first time we met was at her home and she invited me right upstairs and into her bathroom to talk to her while she was getting ready. I thought that was pretty amazing how open and comfortable she was to have me in her home and talk to me as though we had always known one another.  I’ve known Tom since I was a baby and he is like family. I am so happy for the years Tom and Dez were able to have together and am sending many loving thoughts and prayers to their girls and family members.
