It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dexter "Dexie" "Boo" Ripani-Carrasquillo on May 10, 2023. Born on April 16, 2010, Dexie was a beacon of love and light, bringing joy to those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dexie is survived by his loving mother, Melissa Ripani-Carrasquillo and Marc Carrasquillo who will carry his memory in their hearts.  He leaves behind three human siblings, Aidan (11), Penelope (8) and Laila Rae (6). His animal siblings include Lexie, Chippie, Stormi, and two parakeets who were never named. Dexie's boundless energy and infectious personality will be deeply missed by all who were graced by his presence.

As we reflect on Dexie's life, we are reminded of the happiness he brought to many and the indelible mark he left on this world. His family will deeply miss his howling and frantic kisses and hugs as they walked into the room. May his spirit continue to inspire and uplift those who knew him, and may his memory be a source of comfort and strength for his family and friends.
