On Monday July 17, 2023, Dewana Nicole Lewis, peacefully passed away at the young age of 43.  Nicole, born on May 25, 1980 to two loving parents, Chevonne Owens and Dewayne Lewis in Bakersfield, CA, was a bundle of joy from the very beginning. She loved doing hair and being a big sister to her siblings, Candice and Shannon. Music, dancing, rapping, and fashion were things she enjoyed. Nicole met her high school sweetheart, Andrew Carbajal at Santa Maria High School  and after graduating f in 1998, they had a beautiful baby boy, Andrew. Two years later, they welcomed a gorgeous baby girl, Keanna. Nicole and her family moved to Colorado where she gave birth to Elijah, a sweet baby boy. Nicole was a great cook, a loving mother, daughter, and sister who loved everyone she met. She was beautiful, intelligent, funny and could light up the room with her bright, infectious smile and spirit. Preceding her in her home-going are her father, uncles, aunts, grandparents. Nicole is survived by her mother, children, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins. She will be forever missed and never forgotten and her vibrant spirit will be missed by all. Memorial service is Friday July, 28 @ 11 am at
