- Devon "Bubby" Webb (1993-2023)
Devon "Bubby" Webb, aged 29, passed away on March 11, 2023. Born in Salem, IN on September 9, 1993, Devon was a vibrant and loving soul taken from us too soon. With a kind and compassionate heart, Devon touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
Devon graduated from Eastern High School in 2012 and was a proud alum who maintained strong connections with friends from his time there. Throughout his life, Devon was known for his outgoing nature, often serving as "the life of the party," spreading joy, laughter, and warmth wherever he went.
With a myriad of hobbies, Devon was a well-rounded individual who delighted in sports, drawing, and listening to music. He also found great joy in spending time with his dogs and building various structures, showcasing a creative side and a love for animals.
Devon is survived by his loving family. His mom Stacey and step dad Christopher Shoemaker, his dad Bobby and step mom Jennifer Webb , his two adoring sisters Shanda-Lyn and Mikaya Webb and two step brothers Braden and Seth Shoemaker, who provided unwavering support, guidance, and love throughout his life. As they navigate through this difficult time, it is evident that Devon's memory will continue to flourish in the hearts of those he left behind.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of Devon's life, where memories and stories can be shared to honor the incredible impact he had on all who knew him. A celebration of life will take place on May 20, 2023 from 4 until 8 at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Salem, IN. We take comfort in knowing that Devon's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kind, loving, and compassionate spirit. As we remember Devon, let us also embrace his unwavering zest for life and the love he shared with us all. Rest in peace, Devon "Bubby" Webb.
