Truly a lifelong friend! Devon was one of my first friends at Marion, and helped me feel like I fit in. We got to high school in Marion County the same year, and navigated a lot together. He was my Spanish class partner and saved our phone contacts underneath the names we were assigned in Spanish class. He is a lifelong friend that I will always be grateful for and never forget.

Devon and my older sister are…
Devon and my older sister are birthday twins. When our families would hang out, Devon was always a joy and winner, whether it was him beating us at almost every game we played or casually dropping knowledge on us. We have endless memories of him and he will always be our 1st big brother in our hearts.

After every game, we would take group pictures and just laugh and joke about one another, we were all just one big family. And even years after graduation and being hours apart, we were still always welcomed in their home to laugh just like old times.

My friends and I were the first people Devon met. I remember all the time we hung out laugh and how many phone calls and text we sent. At one point in time, we all were inseparable. I will always cherish those moments!

I lived with Devon in Macon a few years ago while studying abroad.

Devon was a great man – an absolute joy to be around. I am so sorry for your loss.
