Devanand "Dave" Kewal, age 63, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Brooklyn, NY. He was born on July 19, 1960, in Guyana. Devanand was a hardworking and friendly person who touched the lives of many with his positivity and generosity. He was known for his strength, love, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Devanand is survived by his wife, Irene Kewal, and children Roshnie, Sushma, Kavita, Natram, Chandra, Maria, Seerita, and Steve. He is also survived by his siblings Rishie, Krishna, and Mike. Devanand was preceded in death by his parents, Kewal and Anna, and his brother Ravi.

Devanand pursued a career in upholstery and eventually became a successful business owner. In his leisure time, he enjoyed listening to music and watching wrestling.

On March 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Andrew Torregrossa & Sons, Inc., located at 1305 79th Street, Brooklyn, New York. The funeral services are being handled by Andrew Torregrossa & Sons, Inc., in Brooklyn, NY.

Devanand will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
