Personal note from Desiree's family

At some point we will probably set a date to celebrate every beautiful thing that Desiree will always be, share memories, laugh, cry. I'm not sure when that will be and COVID is a still a major concern and our family is processing her sudden passing.

For now, please hold Des in love and light knowing she deeply loved and cherished family and all of her friends.

If you want to celebrate her memory, consider honoring her spirit in trying to remember to accomplish at least one act of random kindness each day, even if it's just offering a smile to a stranger. It's that kind of thing that filled her heart with joy and happiness.

It's meant so much to all of us hearing from her friends who have shared memories with us and what she meant to those who truly loved everything about her. She was so many things to so many people but the takeaway from just about everyone was how loving she was in life, what a big heart she had, and how much she genuinely cared.

Thanks to all close friends and family who have reached out to us personally, even if we haven't had time to respond. Special thanks to those who have held space for our family and allowed us to move through this at our own pace. This feels still so unreal sometimes.
