Time is cruel. You get know people, make friends, find your life partner. then you find the one person that you bond with that you  know will last forever as your best friend, brother, someone that has your back no matter what.  Desi will forever be that friend. Desi was there when I need that ear to listen to me bitch about things I couldn't talk to anybody else about or needed advice. This one of the hardest things I have to handle without Desi giving me any advice on.  I will miss laugh and most of all that look of seriousness. That look just made laugh no matter. He will  always be in my heart and I don't think anyone will replace him.  I love man , and like I said before I will see you again one day driving that bus.

To Desi's family and loved ones, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. Desi was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. All during his battle, when he was at work, he had jokes, a smile on his face, and a warmth that cannot be duplicated. Over the year and a half that we worked together, it was a joy to join calls with him. He helped bring some calmness when there was chaos. He was invested in his role and helped establish many new processes. He came up with ideas and always wanted to help. Especially in his type of role, being internal customer service, he treated everyone with respect, kindness, and patience. He remembered little details about my life and always asked about those details when we talked. He made you feel seen and welcome. It took a couple days to be able to write this, and my words don't feel enough to explain how great of a person he was. I am deeply saddened I won't get to see his face again on a call. I hope his family can  smile and find laughter again when thinking of him and seeing pictures. He will be sorely missed.

Desi was the brother I never knew I needed. He was always cracking jokes, even in the end. He loved Ashley with all his heart !  He was an amazing Uncle to Easton. 

We had so much fun together. I will miss his corny jokes and his big laugh. He was always a light in any situation. He was overall a great addition to our family, and he will always be in our hearts.

Desi was our Son-in-law.  His great greatest accomplishment in my eyes was how he loved our daughter.  He loved her some much and showed her love every day.  As a father loving your daughter with the utmost care is a great gift that Desi provided us with. 

Desi brought us so much joy and tears.  Tears of laughter with sill jokes, saying, and comments that made us laugh so hard our eyes leaked.   Now our eyes leak with true sadness as we will miss this amazing man.
