Derrik was my whole world over the last 4 years. When we first met, he actually saved my life.
I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for his bravery and quick response time.
He was shot right in front of me and I tried everything I could to save him, but unfortunately I was unsuccessful
My entire life has been flipped upside down and I can’t bear having to deal with all the creditors who are constantly calling, emailing and texting.

Derrik was taken away from me so unexpectedly. We were having a wonderful day together one minute and the next someone was shooting at us right in front of our house, and unfortunately Derrik was killed. I am trying to raise money to pay off the funeral home, as I still owe them for his services. I am also being sued by our shared apartment for breaking the lease early and moving but I didn’t feel safe living there after such a tragedy. We also had utilities in our names and some furniture. I just can’t do all of this on my own, on top of being devastated by grief.
