It is with profound respect and sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Derrell Waldecker, who left us on August 15, 2024. Born in 1949, Derrell had a long and fulfilling life, characterized by warmth, humor, and politeness. His congenial spirit and his firm belief in being plain-spoken, easy-going, and humble were lessons that he shared with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Derrell, better known to most as Wayne, was a retired electrician. His knack for solving complicated problems with ease and his dedicated service in his field of work are some of the many accomplishments that he will always be remembered for. Despite his professional achievements, Wayne found his greatest joy in the simple things. He was an avid outdoorsman and shared an undying love with his dog, Timber.
As a commemoration of his life and the warm memories he left behind, a Celebration of Life for Derrell "Wayne" Waldecker will be held at 12:00 AM on September 16, 2024, at 3701 Tabora Dr. We kindly ask all attendees to honor his memory by sharing stories and recollections of Wayne that encapsulate his loving personality and infectious humor.
