Good afternoon, On July 14th, 2024 at 1pm Dr. Derek Joseph Wilson, IFATADE "Royal Who Wears The Crown", made his transition and is now being received by the ancestors. He is among the greats who have graced this earth. Thank you all for your support, presence, prayers, and encouragement.

A Memorial gathering will be held at Prairie View A&M College on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. Services will be held at the Don Clark Juvenile Justice Building: 575 Anne Preston Street, Prairie View, TX 77445.

Interment immediately following services at Prairie View A&M University Cemetery. Repast will be held following the interment.

We humbly request white or Afrocentric attire for those attending.

In lieu of flowers, we have created the Dr. Derek Joseph Ifatade Wilson UBUNTU Scholarship Fund that will benefit aspiring Black Scholars in the field of Psychology. Everloved.com will be the site for ongoing maintenance and distribution of the Scholarship Fund in the months and years to come.

LOCATION UPDATE for those in attendance.

ATTENTION: The Celebration of Life and Legacy Services for Dr. Derek Wilson has been relocated. The new location will be the Wille A Tempton Memorial Student Center (the MSC) at 155 L.W. Minor St. Prairie View TX 77445.

For a landmark, MSC is across from the parking lot of the Panther Stadium.
