Background
After a ten year fight with multiple myeloma, Derek passed peacefully at home on his fifth day of hospice. While you are welcome to celebrate Derek’s life any way that brings you peace and represents your relationship with him, he had certain wishes concerning his death. Derek wanted to be cremated and have a celebration of life memorial service with all his favorite things. There will also be some additional steps to complete all his last wishes involving travel to his hometown of Corpus Christi. We are asking that you help us give Derek the homecoming he deserves and requested and to support his beloved wife and daughter during this emotional process.
