Denny's obituary

Denny A. Dantimo passed away on October 6th, 2021 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by loved ones. His long battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) came to an end and he is now at peace. Throughout his illness, Denny kept a positive outlook on life and continued to be a beacon of light in all of our lives. Denny was an avid tennis player, history buff, incredible father and devoted husband. His witty sense of humor always kept us smiling. The love he had for his family was endless. He was an exceptional human being who will be immensely missed by all who knew him.

Denny was born on September 11, 1958 in Washington D.C., the son of Henry and Jeanie Dantimo. He graduated from Nordonia High School, Class of 1977. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and later attended Akron University. Denny met his wife of 30 years, Kim Ayers, in 1990. He was passionate about his career in oil and gas and was well respected by his peers.

Denny is preceded in death by his father Henry and sister Lisa Dantimo. In addition to his wife, Kim (Ayers) Dantimo, he is survived by his children Stephanie, Sean, and Corey; mother Jeanie; brother Mark Dantimo and his wife Georgeann; brother Mike Dantimo and his wife Jacqui; sister Julie Tucker and her husband John; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 17th at Calvary Episcopal Church at 806 Thompson Road in Richmond, Texas 77469.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
