I have fond memories of Dennis while serving with him in the 590th AF Band at McGuire AFB. He was highly respected for his musicianship, natural leadership skills, and kindness to everyone. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.
Mr. Walter was one of my favorite teachers. My love for band , was without a doubt m, inspired by him. He was so kind. I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing .
Mr. Walter had a huge influence on me when I was a student and he was one of the band directors at NBC. He is one of the reasons I became a band director. As a fellow percussionist we played together in a few gigs over the years and he continued to encourage and inspire me. May he rest in peace.
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Walter. He was one of my favorite teachers and had such a lasting impact on my life. From 7th through 12th grade, he encouraged my love for music—first in band, then by convincing me to join choir and musical. He always pointed out your strengths and guided you to grow. Some of my best school memories are because of him, and he will truly be missed.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Mr. Walter was a champion for me in high school as I was a violinist in a school without strings. He always made sure to highlight my talent and make me feel special! We played Christmas carols in Rancocas Woods together and it’s a fond memory. So sorry for your loss.
