God’s blessings to the children and family
of Dennis Steward , with a class a FRENCH SETTLEMENT HIGH SCHOOL year 1967 extend our condolences to your loss he was a dear friend, We were blessed to have him our junior year and we enjoyed his company when we had our monthly luncheon’s at HILLTOP and he will be sadly missed and yes he was the peanut man , they were delicious , God’s s blessings upon and may he rest in peace
My heart is heavy and I was shocked to get the news about Dennis. I always looked forward to going to the Stewart grandparents so us kids could all play together. Dennis and his family lived right by them and we always had so much fun. Then he went in the Navy and I went to LSU and stayed there working for thirty years. We never saw each other and then one day I was in the cafeteria getting lunch and he walked up behind me. It was just like we were when kids and started off right where we had left off. He was working on campus doing a job for the telephone company. So from then on he would look me up when close by and I loved that family reminiscing. He was the same sweet cousin with that big contagious smile. It breaks my heart that due to my husband’s health I am unable to be with all of you, but you are in my prayers. I will say I feel like I know all of you because he talked about you and you could tell he loved his family. And fishing but family was the biggest love! RIP Cuz. ❤️

Mr. Dennis was such a sweet man. I’ll remember the fun times JoLee and I had visiting him. Continued prayers for his family and friends. Love y’all.
