Dennis, I didn't know you personally, but I can only judge you by your amazing son, Mark.  You and Mary raised him right because he is one of the most loving, smart, giving, caring, generous people I've ever met.  I'm so glad my daughter (albeit, "step")  brought him into our family.  He loved you deeply.  Rest in peace dear man.  God be with you.
