Dennis Lee Rice peacefully passed away on April 16, 2025, in Ft Atkinson, WI, at 52 years old. Dennis was born to David L Rice and Karen K Rice on May 25, 1972, at Madison General Hospital in Madison, WI. Dennis graduated Cambria-Friesland high school in 1991, where he was offered a full scholarship in graphic design. Dennis was an enthusiastic cartoonist even to his final days. Dennis was the third child of eight and was eager to live on his own. After graduation he relocated to Waunakee and began working at Burger King then went on to work for Waunakee Alloy and finally Suttle Straus. In between jobs he worked designing, measuring, and painting soccer parks around the state of Wisconsin, where he was said to have cared about the quality of his work and was a great partner to work with. Dennis was preceded in death by his father David Rice, his brothers Stacey Alan Rice and Patrick K Rice.

Dennis is survived by his mother Karen Barango, brothers Robert (Pamela) Rice, Timothy (Donna) Rice, Kevin (Andrea) Rice, David Jr.(Lupita) Rice, and sister Michelle (Cecil) Bembry and many nieces and nephews.
