Dennis's obituary
Dennis Boyd Mhyre, 81, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023 lovingly surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born to David and Geraldine Mhyre, on February 13, 1942, in Washington State. As a young child, he grew up in Ras Tanura, Arabia and then as a teen, he attended Montana Institute in Zug, Switzerland. He attended college at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He began his lifetime career in the dental industry, moving to Florida where he worked in sales and management with Henry Schein Dental Supply until his retirement. He met his second wife, Yvette in Florida and they eventually settled in Delray Beach. Dennis loved fishing on his boat, traveling with Yvette, and writing poetry for his family. He enjoyed reading history books, watching old movies and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his wife Yvette, his daughters from his first marriage, Theresa Pezzo and Jeannette Dietrich; spouses, Frank Pezzo and Dean Dietrich; granddaughters, Haven and Marina; stepson and wife, Sam and Kara Landol; grandchildren Mia and Sammy; stepdaughter and husband, Adrienne and KC; and granddaughter, Zoe. He is also survived by his sister, Kate and her husband Bill Weber; niece, Jennifer Diehl and her son, Tyler Carnes.
A private funeral will be held in Lake Worth, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Peggy Adams Rescue where Dennis and Yvette adopted their rescue dog, Shelby.
