Dennis's obituary

Dennis Edwin Irons passed, surrounded by loved ones, on January 12, 2024. He is survived by his devoted wife Jacque’, his son Cale, daughter Ashley, her husband Geoff and their daughters Kaelyn and Ava. Den and Jacque’ celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 1, 2023.

Denny was one of five children born to Milford and Vernice Irons on January 11, 1949 in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania. He grew up with two sisters, Beverly (Rich) Groff and Mary Janette (Brad) Binder, and two brothers John (Victoria) Irons and Tim (Lesa Iovine) Irons.

Den had many passions throughout his life. He earned a master’s degree in special education, teaching for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing and riding his bike on his favorite trails. In 75 meaningful years, his family, friends and pets were his world. His love, generosity and sense of humor will live on forever and always. We love you, Pops.
