Background
Alex is the father of my 2 children. For about the last 3yrs he has been battling cancer(throat and brain) He was doing well was in remission and then all of a sudden it came back and was worse than before. It was very hard on our daughter watching him decline. She was there for him as much as possible. Unfortunately our son is in another state with family, They are unable to financially get him here. Recently their vehicle has broken down and they live off of social security. Our daughter is 18 and lives on her own.She has had to take time off from work which really puts her behind and adds more stress to her. As well as having to take time off for for the funeral. I am trying to make sure that my son makes it here and doesn't have that regret.and I want my daughter to be able to grieve properly and not have to stress or worry about making sure her bills are paid. I want her to be ok with taking time off for the funeral as well as some time so she can properly grieve. I don't think it has really hit home to either one of them that he is really gone..They are still in shock and denial. As their mother I just want what's best for them and I'm trying to help in every way that I can
