Dennis's obituary
Dennis was born on August 19th, 1943, in Ironwood, Michigan, to his parents, Ture Kivisto and Bonita (Rigotti) Ewert, and raised by his mother and adoptive father, Marshall Ewert. When he was 18 years old, Dennis decided he wanted to join the Army and went on to serve his time in Germany for approximately 3 years.
While standing up in a wedding together, Dennis met his future wife, Connie (Schilling) Ewert, and were married for over fifty years. Dennis and Connie enjoyed spending the majority of their lives together on their hobby farm in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, raising beefalo, and making memories with their daughter Anna Frank. Dennis was considered by family and friends to be a workaholic and rarely took a day off. He would spend his days working on the farm and his nights working at Briggs & Stratton, even working weekends, until retirement at 65 years old. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed his time hunting or at the shooting range. He was known to his family and friends as a story teller and loved living his adventures, either on the farm or while traveling many years south to Arizona for the winter.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Bonita and Marshall Ewert, and his beloved wife, Connie Ewert. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Anna Frank, his two granddaughters, Madelyn and Mila Frank, and his sister Bonnie Jean (Richard) Kraklow, along with many other family and friends.
There will be a memorial service announced at a later time due to the pandemic. Please visit everloved.com/life-of/dennis-… for further updates on a date and location.
