It's only been @ a week since my friend Dennis Dunham was admitted to the hospital for a heart attack, only to find he had cancer in both lungs. Only a few days later, Thursday May 11th, he passed away. His life-long partner Lonnie was completely blind-sided (as most would be) & is struggling to find funds to have Dennis cremated (Dennis's wish). I had no idea that if a family is unable to pay for these services they must sign the body over to the state & lose any right to say how or where their loved one is laid to rest. Any funds collected will go directly for cremation services & a receptical. Any help would be so very appreciated, & I ๐it will give Lonnie some peace.
