I lived with Dennis as an artist in residence at Firehouse 13 in Providence. I was a friend of July's from her San Francisco days. Both such special creatures. I introduced them and they soon became an item. Boy was it hot! She a scientist he an artist. It just fit. July , he will be missed but I am surely happy he graced this planet and he did it with you until the end. Peace to your heart my sista. His presence will be missed but never forgotten. He lives on through his work and the kindness and compassion he shared. Much love to you... Twana Scott

Truly a Renaissance man. Our hearts are with his wonderful family at this time.

My heart goes out to Dennis's family and friends. I first met Dennis at Belleau Art Glass, a glass studio in RI. He always looked out for me and was so fun to blow glass with. I'll always remember him bringing in food he cooked for me to try, he was a fantastic cook. He showed me every variety of grapes there is, and loved to show me new types of apples. He once sent me home with 30 apples for me and my family to share! We both loved good music, and listening to music together. Ill miss our trips to whole foods. Dennis would drive and show me his new favorite songs, which are now my favorite songs. I loved teaching Dennis and his sons about glass blowing. Dennis's laugh was contagious. I'll never forget his humor. He's a hero and inspiration for me. In his honor, John Elias, another friend of Dennis's, and I will offer his family with free glass lessons and studio time for life.
My condolences to his family, and everyone who knew him. Love you Dennis!

I am sure that everyone who ever met Dennis has a story that reflects his talent, intelligence and giving nature. He is one of the finest humans I could ever imagine and I consider myself lucky to have called him "friend."

Sending strength and my condolences. I came to know Dennis via RISD Alumni events. Dennis was a really engaged and active RISD RI alumni during my time leading the club from 2011-2016. He helped along with his son to hang various art shows and was a great spirit to have at events. He will be missed. RIP Dennis and thank you for your great smile and generosity.
