Dennis's obituary
Dennis Mark Caswell died peacefully at home in Gig Harbor, Washington on November 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 72.
Born on February 24, 1953, in Portland, Oregon, Dennis grew up loving the outdoors. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College, he worked for Oroweat Bakeries for decades. Even off the job, he instinctively straightened the bread shelves whenever he walked through a store.
Dennis spent many years involved with Paradise Theatre, acting in numerous productions and later serving as board president. On Sunday mornings, he greeted congregants at Harbor Covenant Church, where he was a regular presence.
He fished whenever he could, painted Bob Ross–style landscapes, whistled loudly, and told dad jokes with pure commitment.
After his diagnoses of Parkinson’s and dementia, he faced each day with humor and determination.
Dennis is survived by Paul's, his wife of 35 years; his children, Krista, Adam, and Tyler; and his grandchild, Will.
His family is grateful for the additional support provided by Josie, Debbie, and Cathy in his final years.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Friends and family are invited to share memories and, in lieu of flowers, donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation in his honor.
