Dennie Williams was a very kind and gentle man.  When his daughter Sabrina married my son Robert, I was blessed to get to know him even for such a short time.  I always enjoyed him coming to my home for a family meal or celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas.  He will be missed dearly.

My prayers for peace during this time of sorrow to Sabrina and all of her family.  Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday.

My Daddy was always there for his children. I remember calling him at 2 AM in the morning to come pick me up when I was in my 20's, because my friend was drinking and I did not want to go anywhere with someone who had been drinking. He drove 30 minutes, before GPS, to come find me in downtown Athens and pick me up. No complaints, no lecture, just glad that I made a good decision to not get into a car with someone who had been drinking.

When I was a teen, anytime my friends would come over and drove their car. He would check their oil, change it, if needed or even replace their breaks if he thought they needed new breaks. He was always so happy to help my friends and always treated them like they were on his daughters.
In response to "What act of kindness did you witness from Danny?"
