Lyle, Max and Chelsea, my thoughts are with you all. I worked for many years with Denise at TOH, she was a compassionate inspiring leader. We spent many weekends riding with through Ottawa, talking, laughing, and dreaming. She was an amazing friend. I will miss you!

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Denise. A bright light on earth has now gone out and is in the heavens guiding us from above. Denise was a tremendous leader who lead with her heart. She made deep long lasting connections with her peers and colleagues. I had the pleasure of working with her and learning from her over the years. She truly was beautiful inside and out. A great loss to the family and the health care community. She left her mark. I had a great time being her dyad partner at HGH and will remember our times together fondly. Especially our trip to Chicago. We laughed and learned and bonded.

Lyle and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Denise for many years at TOH, both in the ICU and in administrative roles, and she was such a positive, caring, compassionate and professional nurse and leader. So many of us are all the better for having known her and been influenced by her.

I first met Denise when I worked in the ICU. From colleague, to mentor, manager and director. She had a positive energy within her that would shine through. She will always be remembered . May your memories give you strength as you grieve. My most sincere condolences to all her family. 💔

I met Denise when I first moved to Ottawa and started working in ICU 1992. I’m a better person for having her in my life. She is now free from pain. My heartfelt condolences to Lyle and their beautiful family. I will carry Denise in my heart

I’m so very deeply sorry for your loss, my sincere condolences to the family and friends. Denise was full of life, so positive and energetic, I will remember her dedication to health care, a nurse who never gave up!!! Wish I could attend the services but unable due to family circumstances.

Mes sympathies à toute la famille. J'ai connu Denise à son arrivée à Sherbrooke. Je l'ai rencontrée par l'entremise de mon amie Lysanne Trudeau. Nous jouions au pickleball et faisions de l'aquatonique ensemble. Bien que notre amitié est récente, nous avons développé des liens très précieux. Croiser Denise sur ma route a été un privilège, quelle personne chaleureuse, attentionnée et dévouée elle était! Je partage votre peine, bien que nos chemins se sont croisés pendant peu de temps, elles me manque beaucoup.
