I only met Ms. McFarland a few months ago. Spending time with her and seeing the passion she had for her role at Englewood Elementary and all the children was so admirable and refreshing. Sending prayers to her family, friends and all who knew her.

So very sorry to hear of Denise's passing. Joey, my son, loved her dearly. He and his father stayed in touch with her for over 20 years after Joey finished elementary school at Sabal Palm. Such a sweet person. May she rest in peace. God Bless.  Cathy Golon
