Just finding out about this, and am completely devastated.  I only knew her from Baylor, but even then it was obvious to all that she was an amazing young woman.   So smart, so funny, and kind.  This just seems so wrong.  I can only trust that we will all meet again one day, in God’s mercy.  I pray that God will comfort her family and friends, who miss her dearly.

I met Denise as an infant.  So many memories of our families through the years of doing church and life together.  The sweetest baby girl grew up into quite an impressive young woman.  Even though all of our lives took us in different directions, our hearts feel the loss of this beautiful woman.  Prayers to Dennis, Sue, Max and her husband Steve and extended family…

I met beautiful Denise at Baylor where we were sorority sisters. She  was such a fun-loving girl, so smart, always kind and so very funny! I always loved her sense of humor and the sparkle in her eye - truly a joy to be around. I am so sorry she was taken away this soon. I was so glad I was able to spend time with her last summer, and also that I got to meet you, Steve. I am thinking of you, her parents and the whole family and praying for a peace that surpasses all understanding to wash over your hearts and minds at this time and in the long days ahead. Denise was a treasure. Our hope is in Christ and being with her again for all eternity, Amen!
