It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denico "Nico" Slade, who departed this life on January 23, 2024. Born on April 24, 1992, Nico graced the world with his warm and intelligent personality, his loving heart, and his  sense of discovery and adventure. He was an indomitable spirit, relentlessly seeking new experiences, meeting people from all of his travels and sharing his experiences.

Denico was predeceased by his beloved sister, Brittany Robinson, his cherished grandmothers, Joan Lipscomb and Cecilia Slade, and his dear uncle, Camon Lipscomb. 

Nico leaves behind a loving family who cherished him dearly. His mother, Jeneene Robinson, his father, Russell Slade, and stepmother, LaTasha Slade will always hold a special place in their hearts for him. His siblings admired their brother for his inquisitive nature and his limitless sense of adventure. His nieces, extended family members, and friends will also cherish his memory.

In Nico's honor, a Celebration of Life will be held on February 19, 2024, at 10am at Wylie on The Alameda. All those whose lives were touched by Nico are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

Denico's legacy of  intelligence and adventure will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His life was a testament to the power of love, curiosity, and the joy of discovery. While he may no longer be with us physically,his spirit will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
