Dena's obituary
Dena Renee Tubbs (Allen), of Thomas, Oklahoma, lovingly known as "GiGi," was born on June 22, 1977, in Steubenville, Ohio, and passed away on December 30, 2024, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, surrounded by those who cared for her deeply.
Dena’s life was a tapestry of love and resilience. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, GiGi, and friend whose presence brought light and joy to all she encountered. Among her most cherished moments were the times spent cooking and baking with her beloved grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Her love of music was a constant source of comfort and expression throughout her life. With enduring strength and bravery, Dena faced life’s challenges with grace, leaving an permanent mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Janet Allen of Red Level, Alabama; her husband, Greg Tubbs of Thomas, Oklahoma; her brother Scott Allen of New Cumberland, West Virginia; sisters Carrie Vaughn of Raymond, Mississippi, and Wendy Eddy of New Cumberland, West Virginia; as well as her children: son Christian Fish Jr. of Thomas, Oklahoma; daughter Alexis Fauchier and son-in-law Aaron Fauchier of Weirton, West Virginia; and daughter Natasha Fish of Thomas, Oklahoma. Dena was a proud GiGi to her grandchildren: Wesson Blood of Longdale, Oklahoma; Rayleigh & Cambrie Fauchier of Weirton, West Virginia; and Jeremiah & Declan Beers of Thomas, Oklahoma.
Honoring Dena’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Her ashes will be spread at the family farm in West Virginia—a place she held near and dear to her heart.
Though Dena’s journey has come to an end on this earth, she is now at peace and no longer in any pain. May her memory live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
