Dee's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Delorise Howe, affectionately known as Dee, who entered a state of rest on November 10, 2023.
Born on October 4, 1950, in Greatfalls. Dee graduated the college of Greatfalls and became a paralegal. She then went on to get married, raise a beautiful blended family and share her home and love with several dogs
Dee was the loving wife of George Howe, whom she married in 1976. Their relationship was one of pure partnership, which saw them venture into unforgettable experiences including living in Germany, Enjoying a beautiful Alaskan cruise, boating on the lake. They enjoyed 47+ years together.
In addition to her husband George, Dee leaves behind her cherished sons, Ron Miachle, Jeremiah Howe, and George "Danny" Howe. She is also survived by her beloved daughters, Melissa Howe and Chrissy Maichle-Moore. As a grandmother, Dee leaves behind, Lové Howe, Gary Holcomb, Travis Moore, and Rebecca Moore, and her love and legacy will continue to shine through them.
Dee was a remarkable woman with varied interests. She enjoyed the sip of diet coke or a cup of coffee and a good book. She was an ardent fan of books written by Nora Roberts. Her musical taste was defined by the tunes of George Jones and some good classic country. She was passionately engaged in doing macramé, crocheting, cooking, photography, and scrapbooking. Dee also had a soft spot for the color purple.
She was a fervent supporter of causes such as the Wounded Warriors Project. Her greatest accomplishments, however, were personal - creating a Beautiful life for herself and her family being foremost. Dee's love for her dogs was profound, and their companionship was significant in her life.
Dee's life was defined by her loving, warm, and kind-hearted personality. She lived a life of deep meaning, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will forever be imprinted on the hearts of those she touched. As we remember Dee, we celebrate her life and the joy she brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Dear Dee.
