Deloris's obituary

Mabibi’s Obituary

-Deloris Lee Brooks Addison-

In the presence of Almighty God, our Creator and Savior, we announce with sorrow and gratitude the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and devoted friend, Deloris Lee Brooks Addison, born in Prince George County, Virginia. She has been called from this earthly life to her eternal home with the Father.

Deloris was a woman of deep reflection, who understood the significance of her life's journey not only for herself but for the generations that followed. Her life was a tapestry woven with the threads of past experiences, lessons learned, and the hope she held for her children and their children. She believed that personal history, however painful, was a gift meant to be passed down, offering guidance and understanding to those who came after.

Deloris dedicated her life to sharing love, joy, and her time with others. She approached each day with a spirit of generosity, always eager to give of herself. Her legacy is one of strength, faith, and resilience—traits she hoped would continue to live on in her family. She often spoke of the importance of connecting the past, present, and future, believing that understanding one's history is crucial to navigating the future with integrity and love.

As we reflect on the time we were privileged to share with her on this Earth, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit, wisdom, and love will continue to guide us. Though her voice has been silenced by death, the memories she created and the lessons she imparted will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
