Delores Louise Knull (Dee) born August 26,1026 in Cranston Rhode Island died December 23, 2018 following surgery. The wife of retired Pastor, counselor and hospital chap;lain Rev. Stanley H. Knull for 60 years Delores spent her working years as a cherished Youth Director in Lutheran Churches of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Jamestown, New York, Minneapolis Minnesota,and Hartford Connecticut. In later years she also helped Senior Citizens cope with the problems of aging, in employment with the town of Smithtown, New York. Beside her husband Dee leaves a Librarian daughter Katherine, married to a very recently retired U.S. Army Chap;lain, Lt. Col, Terrence Walsh, and a grandson Brian Walsh an amateur Actor and Veterinary Assistant and two cousins B ette and Nancy Costantino and their families of East Greenwich and Cranston Rhode Island respectively.
Delores and her husband Stanley enjoyed their life together for sixty years during which time they served as Pastor and Spouse in New Britain Connecticut, Woodhaven Queens in New York City and in Happauge Long Island. They enjoyed together residence near New York City, European travel with friends, waterfront recreation on Long Isl,and and Cape Cod,music and dramatic art, European travel with friends in Britain Franc e, Germany and Italy. Delores was an active member of First Lutheran Church, West Barnstable,MA where her funeral service will be held on Thursday December 27th with Visitation at 10 AM and Service at 11AM, Attendants may stay for Refreshments in the Fellowship Room of the Church following the Service. Committal will be private.
