Delano's obituary

Delano F (Del) Austin, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020 following a hard fought battle with prostate cancer. He is survived by his children Wendy and Brett (Patty); grandchildren Caleb, Joshua and Emma; sister Carolyn Basgall; sister-in-law Ruth Berry; nephews Mark, Daniel and Michael Berry, Gregory Basgall; niece Carrie Basgall; his many Bible Studies & Hands of Hope friends, and other friends and family who cherished him. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 14th, 3 p.m. outside behind the Evangel Church, 5700 Bartels Rd., Hanover Park, 630-671-1570. If desired, memorial donations can be made in Del's memory to Evangel's Hands of Hope food pantry ministry that was so close to his heart.
