I never got the knack of calling Dee Dee by just Dee. Guess that’s because our friendship goes back to 7th grade. She was the glue that held together our high school circle of friends and the leader that made sure our high school reunions were the best. She loved life and a party. Her boys and grandchildren/great-grandchildren meant the world to her. I’ll always remember the hummingbird. Really, who else but Dee Dee. She will be sadly missed.

My condolences to the family, Dee was a little woman that packed a punch with her delightful personality. It’s been my honor working with her, and I will miss our conversations talking about life. She is with the angels now, and shaking the clouds. May she rest in peace.

Dee was the mastermind to getting our class reunions together from the 5th to the 55th. May God bless her family with prayers to help them to this difficult time she will be missed

I worked with Dee. We were friends. I hung wallpaper at the house she was living in. She and I went to Vegas together. I saw her recently at Cathy Parks birthday party. We went to a Mexican restaurant after and had margaritas. I'm so sad.
I was friends with DeeDee in high school and it’s been just the last years that we have reconnected. She was still the fun loving person I remembered and the best thing about her was her love for her children, grand children and great grandchildren!I loved seeing the pictures of all of them and how lucky she was to have older grandchildren so they could do grown up things with them! When I found out she was gone I immediately thought about her littlest great grandchildren how they were going to miss knowing their wonderful grandma that loved them dearly! With so many people who loved her I know they will always hear those incredible stories about how amazing she was! So very sorry for the families loss ! Rest in Peace Dee ! Coco Hahn Flowers .
Oh my gosh - Where to start? Dee and I worked together at NatCity/PNC, and while she was such a great resource about all things mortgage-related, she was an even better friend. She could make me laugh until I cried (or wet my pants) - She had such a great sense of humor, and a fantastic sense of style. As a South-side girl, she introduced me to the Hey-Hey, and honestly, my first visit there with her was like a scene out of the Twilight Zone, LOL! I have shed tears since I learned of her passing, but I have also giggled about some of our adventures together. She was a genuine, authentic soul, and I loved that she was a straight-shooter. One of my regrets tho, was that she never gave me a tutorial on applying eyeshadow! She always had the most beautiful makeup. She was a lovely lady, inside and out, and I will truly miss her.
I think “Sassy” is a true description for Dee Dee.  I remember riding in her blue Thunderbird after games and laughing until I almost wet my pants 😁.  My regret is that I didn’t stay in touch after graduation.  I pray for peace for her family and happy memories forever.
Dee Dee was a friend at South class of ‘68. She was funny and sassy and always spoke her mind. She worked hard to make our class reunions a success. She will be missed.

Dee was a strong woman……she was a strong “girl” back in our high school days! I always enjoyed her quick wit and gritty attitude. She was proud of her sons and did a great job raising them. I will always smile when I think of her.

Dee will forever be in the Hearts 💕 of everyone she knew.  She was the most giving person - sometimes to a fault !! I'm one of her "South High School Friends " We have lots of Wonderful Memories ❤️ and a lifetime of Friendships. RIP - See you when God brings me home.
My deepest condolences to all of the family. I had the pleasure of getting to meet Dee about 5 years ago at our Martin Cousins get together. A beautiful lady. I'll be praying for comfort for all of you. 🙏
